I will be reviving this blog, when I look at the posts from 2011 I realize we have gone backward.  NOT how we thought this would turnout.

An Off Year

Thank goodness !!  what we have to look forward to is a quiet summer and fall without the constant bombardment of ads with questionable virtue and facts.  You know, this summer we could do something about it but it would take a WHOLE lot of us.  Lets think this through.

An epiphany for our generation

a friend of mine who is an old hippie who never left the 70's - he still wears those rose colored glasses all the time - looked at me today and said "it's the big corporations ?? isn't it".  Yes grasshopper, it is the big corporations, and the high-income earners.  and no, it is not their fault - your right again grasshopper, it's your fault, and the other 98% of our generation who went to sleep about the time jimmy carter got elected. Are you waking up now, are you listening - shhh - what's that sound - everybody knows whats going down - do you remember the words.  here - i will help -

i think it's time we stop children what's that sound
everybody look whats going round

theres battle lines being drawn
nobodys right if everybodys wrong
young people speaking their minds
gettin so much resistance from behind      full text

does any of this sound familiar - like today - like right now.  the question still is what are we going to do.  as one we are a bubble moving through time bigger than anything they have ever seen.  and as quiet as a mouse.  time for us to start making the sound.

I agree

4/1/2011 7:17:32 AM UTC -0500  This from  Kevin Liston ISC Handler :

"April 1st is upon us. In some circles it is celebrated as "April Fools' Day." I choose to observe it as Open Source
Intelligence Analysts' Day-- the one day of the year that we all have to be extra-suspicious of every news article, blog post and tweet. It's a good skill to develop, and we have this unique time where we know that there are hidden gems of disinformation being introduced into the streams of information we've come to rely on the rest of the year.

It's like a tornado drill for truth."

I agree completely
